The Vivid* iq System combines the proven high performance of the Vivid product line with a new and innovative portable laptop design. The Vivid iq System is a comprehensive digital cardiovascular and shared service ultrasound system with support for the following 2D clinical applications: cardiac, transesophageal, intraoperative, peripheral vascular, adult cephalic, neonatal cephalic, musculoskeletal conventional, musculoskeletal superficial, transcranial and transvaginal applications.

Portability – The Vivid iq System is ultraportable, enabling easy transportation, promoting scanning at the patient site. Battery operation extends scanning time without an AC power supply and provides quick boot-up time from standby mode.

The design of the used GE Vivid iq uses a touchscreen interface that operates similar to that of a tablet or touchscreen PC. The closed surface of the user interface makes it easy to clean and disinfect. It is also 10% lighter than the Vivid q, weighing just under 10lbs.
